Stitches will be removed 5 days after surgery, after 5 days daily activities can be done easily, physical activities and gym after 6 weeks.
The operation consists in three phases. The beginning phase is the anesthesia, your operation will be performed in general anesthesia. The second phase is incision. The incision lines for eyelid surgery are designed so the resultant scars will be well concealed within the natural structures of the eyelid region. The upper eyelid can be corrected through an incision within the natural crease on the eyelid. This allows for removal or repositioning of fat deposits, tightening of muscles and removal of excess skin.
Conditions of the lower eyelid may be corrected with an incision just below the lower lash line. Through this incision, excess skin in the lower eyelid is removed. Again, the excess fat can be repositioned or removed.
A transconjunctival incision, created on the inside of the lower eyelid, is an alternate technique to correct lower eyelid conditions and redistribute or remove excess fat. With this technique, no skin is removed.
Last phase is closing incisions. Eyelid incisions typically are closed with sutures or skin glue. Sutures are removed within one week.

A blepharoplasty, also known as an eyelid surgery, is a surgical procedure that aims to improve the appearance of the eyelids by removing excess skin, fat, and muscle from the upper and/or lower eyelids.
A blepharoplasty can improve the appearance of drooping, sagging, or puffy eyelids, giving a more youthful and rested look to the eyes. It can also improve vision if sagging upper eyelids were obstructing the field of view.
Good candidates for a blepharoplasty are generally in good health, have realistic expectations for the results of the surgery, and have visible signs of aging or sagging eyelids that affect their appearance or vision.
A blepharoplasty is usually performed under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia, and involves making incisions in the natural creases of the eyelids. The excess skin, fat, and muscle are then removed or repositioned, and the incisions are closed with sutures or skin glue.
Recovery time can vary depending on the extent of the surgery, but patients can generally expect to experience swelling, bruising, and discomfort for several days after the procedure. Most patients are able to return to work and normal activities within 7-10 days.
As with any surgical procedure, there are risks associated with blepharoplasty, such as bleeding, infection, scarring, dry eyes, vision changes, and difficulty closing the eyes. However, these risks can be minimized by choosing a qualified and experienced surgeon and following all pre- and post-operative instructions carefully.
The results of a blepharoplasty can last for several years, but will eventually begin to diminish as the natural aging process continues. However, the results can be maintained with good skincare and healthy lifestyle habits, such as avoiding smoking and excessive sun exposure.
